June, Art and the Summer Solstice

I hope that June has been treating everyone well and that you are having a great summer thus far.  As spring was creeping to its end, I was busy in my studio working on things for a few exhibitions in New York City.  On June 1st, "Endangered: Protect the Pack," opened at Gristle Tattoo in Brooklyn, NY.  This was a silent auction benefiting Wolf Conservation Center.

Weeks later, I was happy to show with a group of great artists including Paul Romano, Sarah Louise Davey, Heather Gargon, Dilek Baykara, Scott Holloway, and others at "Oracle," a show curated by Kat Gun at Gristle Tattoo in Brooklyn, NY.

And to end the month with something equally as exciting, this Thursday, June 27th, opens "Waves of Change", a benefit for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society at Hasted Kraeutler Gallery on W 24th St. in Manhattan.  Tickets are still available here.  I urge everyone to come out and support Sea Shepherd.

Thank you to all of those who have bought art, attended openings, took the time to say hello, and helped me support organizations and causes that I care deeply about.  It is very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Dylan Garrett Smith
